Nebo
Nebo brings together natural fruit syrups and high-quality London Dry Gin. The name, meaning “heaven”, hints at the elevated experience waiting inside the bottle. We embraced its spiritual undertone through iconographic illustrations, expressive typography, and a composition inspired by illuminated manuscripts.
The illustrations borrow from traditional woodcuts, recreated digitally with distressed edges, subtle ink variations, and slight misregistration to retain the character of the original printing process. Although built from flat colors, each element carries its own texture, giving the artwork a sense of authenticity. The darkest elements are embossed, reinforcing the impression of an original mechanical print.
The embossed medallion was modelled in 3D and stamped onto a metallic sheet. A printed patina further reinforces its three-dimensional appearance.
